KitingBlogs.com Update #2: Importing and Exporting
With the mass of awesome free blog sites around, many of you are already using a site like Blogger, Wordpress.com, Typepad, or one of the countless others. Sure they are great, and work, but why not import all of your posts to KitingBlogs.com? With an awesome community, the best support, and tons of other features, why not import and give KitingBlogs.com a try?
Importing posts is simple. Simply log-in, select the ‘Manage’ tab, and then click the ‘Import’ sub-tab on the right. Select which blog system you are currently using, and follow the directions. This may require you to export your posts from your current blog.
If you decide to give KitingBlogs.com a try, Thank You! I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and decided to hang around! However, if you decide that KitingBlogs.com isn’t for you, you do have the option of taking all of your posts from your KitingBlog, and importing them to a new blog system if you wish.
Exporting is as simple as importing. Simply log in to your blog, select the ‘Manage’ tap, and then click the ‘Export’ sub-tab. This will generate a small file that contains the content of all of your posts. Use this file to transfer into a new blog system.
