KitingBlogs.com Update #2: Importing and Exporting

With the mass of awesome free blog sites around, many of you are already using a site like Blogger, Wordpress.com, Typepad, or one of the countless others. Sure they are great, and work, but why not import all of your posts to KitingBlogs.com? With an awesome community, the best support, and tons of other features, why not import and give KitingBlogs.com a try?

Importing posts is simple. Simply log-in, select the ‘Manage’ tab, and then click the ‘Import’ sub-tab on the right. Select which blog system you are currently using, and follow the directions. This may require you to export your posts from your current blog.

If you decide to give KitingBlogs.com a try, Thank You! I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and decided to hang around! However, if you decide that KitingBlogs.com isn’t for you, you do have the option of taking all of your posts from your KitingBlog, and importing them to a new blog system if you wish.

Exporting is as simple as importing. Simply log in to your blog, select the ‘Manage’ tap, and then click the ‘Export’ sub-tab. This will generate a small file that contains the content of all of your posts. Use this file to transfer into a new blog system.

KitingBlogs.com Update #1: Themes Showcase

Hey everyone. Its been only 3 days since starting KitingBlogs.com but I’ve really got the ball rolling, and I’m excited to get it live.

I just wanted to share some of the progress. I’m really excited about the new selection of themes. I just wanted to share a few right now.

Connections Reloaded:

This theme is great. Clean, simple, efficient. Everything is just right about this design, and its ready to be used as a beautiful kiting theme!

Benevolence

This theme is screaming kite to me. The green grass is a symbol of beautiful sunny days in the field flying.

Ambiru

Simplicity at its finest. If you are looking to create a beautiful simple weblog, this is the way to go!

Azurio

Azurio is the balance of simplicity and design that I have always looked for in a design. This is just great, no other way to describe it.

This is only 4 of 40 themes that you have at your disposal. Make sure your site stands apart and looks beautiful! Setting a new theme is simple! Simply log into your blog, click on design, and click on which ever theme you like. You can quickly change themes, so fee free to give them all a test drive!
